Wow, a $2,500 ticket!!! For a 3 year old peeing on his own 2.5 acre property. Not only is this crazy, but it is VERY expensive. I hope the judge throws this one out.

If this judge was smart he would threw, it out and tell the officer off

I totally agree with all comments here. And while I was reading I couldn't help but think about all the prime-time television shows that are blatantly sexual! The Big Bang Theory, How I Met Your Mother, Two Broke Girls, and Two-and-a Half Men, to name a few.

" First I have to tell you that we are as appalled as you are...this entire situation is absolutely ludicrous.

Next... The ticket has been resolved...Our Police Chief has indicated that he has spoken with the DA¹s office and they are not going to pursue this any further. Case closed.

Beyond that and embarrassment aside, I will tell you that we are taking the officer's inability to exercise good judgment quite seriously."

Just looked at the comments on the story... the mayor of Piedmont has had the ticket dismissed.

this is the type of crap that pisses me off (no pun intended). what are they going to do next? put parents on the sex offender registry because their baby is in their own yard?

i'm glad that they got the case dismissed, and i'm glad some people in the government have some sense left.

I was raised in the country and my bros..cousins etc// never came running back to the house to go..They found somewhere..I have a 3 year old grandson that would much rather pee out in the yard then come in..With the way things are now I really want to stop him..because at what point will it be considered a crime

I am glad this case was closed and she didn't have to pay the fine this cop should be educated better and on glad the mayor has common sense on doing what she said she, would do

I gotta get out of this country!!!
