If you have a second, all you people who think conservatives are the answer, go read the comments section. Much more open minded to sex offenders on NPR, a typical liberal haven than say Fox News.

Npr has actually had a few shows dealing with so's and they were much more open minded.

And if you live in these areas and are on probation or parole I would probably listen to these goons until you are off. Once your off, politely tell them unless they have a warrant and police powers they cannot detain you, search your property, or harass you. Take out your phone announce you are filming and then proceed to film every interaction with said goons.

After reading closer, I see the first article concerned Suffolk County and the article mentioned in my second post was for Nassau County, a neighboring county. I guess they have expanded the program to another county.

Wow. What would happen if they actually used that money for the good of others rather than to promote fear and ignorance? In one of the articles a law enforcement person comments that the money would all be worth it if they found just one person doing nasty things on the internet…Well, what if a public service program were created (and a couple of mil$ would do quite nicely for that) that would educate people about the REALITY of these problems. Just think! Teenagers could be educated before they ever did something rash and got themselves on the registry. True pedophiles could get the help they need to live offense-free lives. Jobs could be available for people who may have made a mistake early in life but have had all their chances taken away.

Wow. A couple of million dollars can buy a LOT of kindness. These people have truly lost their opportunity.

LOL i don't know what i am politically.... each one has a least one thing that i like. i don't follow the crowd on voting on things. sometimes i might like everything said about an issue but then a stumbling block pops up. and if it's a big enough block? then i will vote against it.
