I have not found anything and it does look like it is protected by the Constitution - personally I have doubts that the Framers meant for this type of thing to happen - I do remember something when the Casey Anthony case was going on that they did something that made it where the media had to stay a certain distance from the home - I will research that a little. I would think that the no trespassing signs would force them to stay on the sidewalk and not your property - I agree you should call the school and ask if they can do anything and if not I would home-school my kids. There is absolutely nothing stopping you from putting a letter on the door such as on the website above - you could not quote the PCC rules but you could say you have asked repeatedly to be left alone etc. and that is not going to change - be prepared that their pursuit to "get the story" will probably mean your note will be photographed and post on TV - personally I would also tell them that if they do not back off they are putting you and the rest of your family in danger.

I like the idea of no trespassing signs and a pit bull! The media will eventually go on to other stories but in the mean time they are like sharks and making your life miserable. So sorry what you are going through.

While the Constitution does provide for freedom of the press, that right is not absolute, and reporters are not allowed to break the law to obtain news stories. The same constitution that protects the media also (should) protect all citizens.

Get no trespassing signs, call and make a harassment complaint at the police station, they will come to you more than likely.

Put out the No Trespassing signs... A large scary dog will keep them away from your direct door, but they won't make them go away... and if said scary dog hurts someone, that could cause you more trouble than you wanted.

A restraining order for you and your children will keep them from huddling around you demanding answers to questions that are none of their business. It won't keep them from the courthouse, just X number of feet from you... Which will at least keep them off your back.
