Big thanks to the RSO curfews and laws in place! Don't you know that no kids this year were taken by the boogeyman because of all the laws against RSOs and the curfews! Without them--kids would be taken left and right! The kids, think about the kids! If it only saves one child's life!!!! Even before we had these laws we didn't see any predators attacking children on Halloween, but we fixed that problem. Now for sure no kids will be attacked or taken and again this year proves how effective our measures were!
I am very encouraged that we are spending so much time and energy focusing on stranger danger. After all 7% of children are sexually abused by strangers, so we need to spend 90% of our overall budget on stopping these types of crimes. It is imperative that we save the 7%! For those people that say what about the 93%, I'm here to tell you that we spend most of our money where it will help the smallest amount of people. It may seem backwards, but the 7% of children sexually abused are important, and who is fighting for them if we aren't? It is also much easier to get the public behind the idea of stopping these scary monsters than to try and get them to understand how complicated the issue really is.
We also really aren't interested in saving all the children, when we say, "if it only saves one child it's worth it," we meant it! We designed our policies to save that one child. While there may be more effective ways to stop the sexual abuse of children, we cannot of a better way to spend our precious resources than to save the life of one child!

Money rolling in? Been awhile since we had that debate. What about the fact that keeping RSOs poor and unable to pay for anything the government actually loses money? Whatever they "gain", they actually lose many times over in lost taxes from RSOs, food stamps and other welfare programs in the states where RSOs can collect them, extra salary to police took after the 800k RSOs, property taxes of people in neighborhoods of RSO's go down in value, need I go on? The fact that many people here think there is some master conspiracy to make money off of RSOs is just simply not true. Do individual players in the sex offender game make money? Sure they do, but are they taking in dough? Really? This idea that the government is getting rich off of this? That couldn't be further from the truth.
