Bout time!

Uh huh - Ron Book We know a little about Ron Book here in FL - those of you that do not know the story - Book is a pretty rich guy - when his daughter was young he had a hired nanny. his daughter L.Book accused the nanny of molestation. That case (as in so many others like Jessica Lundsford) prompted the father (Ron) to be recruited by politicians etc. to become involved in sex offender politics - He and his daughter were the most prominent voices in getting that 2500 ft buffer passed in Miami-Dade - not at all surprising since he has tons of money to pour into the local politicians pockets. Sometime after that law was passed the (and the colony under the bridge became nationally known) daughter spoke out that she no longer believe it was the right thing to do - but Ron Book has been steadfast in his support - he made a big deal in the press about buying and renovating an apartment complex for the homeless sex offenders and helped some move in - then once the media heat was off he raised the rent so high they could not afford it (among other things)


Now, this is the part that makes no sense about all of this - the buffer law they created would have in no way protected his daughter! The case had nothing to do with anything like that - the nanny lived in his home! Exactly, the type of case that statistics support and yet people blindly follow what they are told by people like Book and other politicians and the media.

When I include a link I always give it a new line of its own? Not sure if that is the issue

I use tiny url. It shortens the links and makes them manageable. Here is how it works.

Go to www.tinyurl.com. Copy and paste the link to the page you want to go to into the box that says "Enter a long URL to make tiny:" After you paste the link in the box, click the button to the right of the box that says "Make tinyurl!."

This will take about 10 or 15 seconds and the new, shortened url will appear in black bold letters down below the boxes where you made the tinyurl. Now just copy and paste the new url into any post you make and PRESTO----problem solved.

One nice thing is that they new url will be clickable. The reader just has to click it----it will appear as green in a word document---without having to copy and paste it.
