After reading the blog for California RSOL and seeing some of the progress this state is making against restrictions etc and having a very strong person like Janice leading the charge I finally understand why so many states fail.
They fail because there is not enough support from the registered citizens in each state,, The organizations in each states need strong leader and they need money to file lawsuits, you would think that each person and their families which fall under the extreme laws would be donating at least $10 a month to their state groups and if not at least to the national group. This is the only way we will every have our freedom back.
We as a group can demand change but until we have funds for our state groups it will only be wishful thinking, there is not one lawmaker willing to put his or her neck on the line even though many know the laws are wrong.
Until money can be raised to fight these unjust laws and restriction, all many can do is wish and good luck with that.
I know this is a support blog and that is great, but everyone needs to look towards the future even if your love ones are in prison or probation, if you ever want them to have a normal life again.
Talk is fine, money is the real answer, hit the states, cities with more lawsuits than they can handle, hurt them the way they have hurt us.
Please get involved in your state or national groups and give all you can, it is the only way.

I cannot ask for monetary damages but in the cases she's won the state pays her fees.
The problem is I plan on leaving IL. I wonder if I can still sue and not live here?
I'm uprooting my husband from the only state he's ever lived in. Moving away from our aging parents and my children away from their cousins.
All because the laws of this state won't allow me to pick up or drop off my child without prior written consent of the superintendent who can me access to everything but conferences.
Because I can't host a birthday party for my kids or take them trick or treating.
Had I know when my registration ended I'd still be subject to these laws I would have moved long ago.
I'm debating finding an attorney here and getting their opinion.
