20-30 years for former teacher

A former teacher at a Nebraska school was sentenced on Thursday to 20-30 years in prison for having sex with a 14-year-old student.

A former school teacher here in Arkansas has been sentenced to ten years probation for having sexual relations with a student and sex offender registration-she won't have to serve any jail time. She had one of the best attorney's in the state representing her, and this is her sentence. A doctor got probation for video voyeurism recently as well.

What pisses me off is that she and the doctor got off with probation, and my husband, who committed a no contact sex offense is serving a ten year sentence. There are rampant disparities in the sentencing, and it appears that the better the representation, the lighter the sentence

Money talks, and B.S. walks. .

That's just my humble opinion.
