Sounds good to me. Any plans for how the book is to be set up? Use peoples testimonials on the crap they face once someone is convicted and face for the rest of their lives? Be happy to contribute any way I can.

Ya I think it should be testimonials, and how the laws are way too rediculous that people who have to register are shunned, can't find jobs, living on the street, etc.

Also have another title: SOR Branded and Scarred for Life

I lie the SORing out of control, because that really sums this whole mess up. Things have gotten totally out of control with the laws and the casualities abound entrenched in the sexual regestery.

Besides its a great play on words!

How funny, I thought of the title of my book just yesterday? "How to win custody of your kids, For Dummies". Then in tiny print below..... "and we will also show you how to make the bastard pay for the rest of his life as a sex offender".

Trying to win custody of your kids? Here is a step by step process complete with depositions of the doctor and the wife who proved it can be done. A formula that even a dummy can master.

The true story of a woman hiring a Dr. to file a false report of child molesting while going through child custody hearings to win full custody. Now as a bonus we are going to include, if you buy now, how she manipulated the cops and judges to not only support her, but, create a road map for her to follow.

To get this to national attention..... there has to be a hook....... you think humor about one of the most horrific experiences imaginable would help?

I am looking for a hook to get people to pick it up. What do you think of that angle?

It might. My brother told me of a situation in Utah. A small boy still in diapers, had pooped his diaper, and proceeded to slide down the stairs on his butt. He continued playing for awhile on the stairs. Enter the 14 year old, visiting the family, whose mom has a hard time getting up and down the stairs. The 14 year old volunteers to take the small boy upstairs, to the bathroom, and give him a bath to clean him up. When the small boy was all cleaned up, he went downstairs saying "he touched my pee pee". Of course mom panics, calls the cops and now this boy has to register. Mom didn't stop to think that you have to lift the "pee pee" up (push back the fore skin , if there is one), in order to clean off the poopy. You would think that a judge would laugh that outta court. But no, he "labeled" a 14 year old boy, trying to help.

Maybe the catchy line would read something like "Change your babies diaper and you could be labeled a sex offender"?

I think the SOR Branded and Scarred for Life title would be best suited for a situation like my son had or that Jersey Justice is going through or individual experiences. SORing Out of Control is best for testimonials, and getting the word out about what is really going on. :)

And yes, humor for a hook is definately in, in my opinion. Also, maybe: and make their daddy pay for the rest of his life as a sex offender? Also what you wrote is probably better: A formula that even a dummy can master. Which now that I thin about it, sounds really good) :)

OMG !!! a custody battle is how I got here also IWantMyDadcom....I know just what your talking about....Its crazy how lawyers will go alone with a case to mess up a persons life knowing theres no prove of any wrong doings ....the ole plea deal or !!!God I hope theres a place in hell for these people....

I'm thinking of a phamphlet: " You could be a Sex Offender if:" And then list the most rediculous true strories of things that got people registered....sorta a play on Jeff Foxworthy

I love the Jeff Foxworthy approach. Here's a couple to start it: "You might be a Sex Offender if . . . you have to "touch" your child to clean him/her! "You might be a Sex Offender if . . . you get caught urinating in the middle of no where!! I think we should, and all proceeds should go to this group/RSOL (Reform Sex Offender Laws), what do the rest of you think? :)
