The answer's all in the BIBLE.
You must understand, satan was once an ANGEL (lucifer), who GOD rejected to earth. And unfortunatly the angel became mighty satan (surpent/snake) deceived and lead Eve then Adam to SIN.
So, here we are...
Just ask? Who did more saving, healing, miracles, loving and good?
We are God's creations, yes even satan once.
That's powerful!
Satan's sneaky and has evil mind, allurs to lust and temptations.
Stronger in what?
In eveil/good and powerful?
I have to agree with you, Lynn, we can talk about anything, as long as, it is done in a tasteful and respectful way and there is no reason to not discuss these things amongst friends. Sometimes and some people learn better to have stuff broken down, rather than to just read it. I do. If all this had not been broken down to me on a child's level, in the state of mind I was in, I would still be who I was when I got here. You remember about 5 months ago? All the, "You can do it"s??? I was a long time crackhead, fresh out of jail, just learning to trust and have faith in anything. I appreciate being able to maybe help someone else. Thanks, Kelly
"We tend to miss the message we need to hear. It is as if we wear glasses with filtering lenses. Those who would most benefit from seeing some green, wear glasses that filter out green. Those who would benefit from seeing red, have lenses that let only green shine through. Consciously changing lenses opens new personal perspectives. It can help us discover the undernourished places in our lives. Seeing what we do not wish to see and hearing what we do not wish to hear, is often the only way to move forward in our journey to healing and wholeness. In other words, we choose to be aware instead of avoid. We choose our destiny over our denial. We feed the hungry parts of our spirit, rather than the overfed.
One evening an old Cherokee told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside people. He said, "My son, the battle is between two wolves inside us all. One is Evil. It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego. The other is Good. It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith."
The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked, "Which wolf wins?" The old Cherokee simply replied, "The one you feed."
satan and god (or good and evil as id say) is in all of us, its which side YOU CHOOSE to go to! i personally walk in the middle, i dont believe in god but i am a good person, i dont believe in satan but sometimes i do stupid things not so much evil but silly.Even though im not sure though if thats being human or satan! ;)
However I think when some have said it is the choice between good and evil they are right on. Our brains are set up in a way to understand things and figure out right from wrong in most cases. We have laws to try to keep the mass majority of people conscious of the fact that if you choose to do wrong you will be punished for it. Most people choose to do the right things because it makes life smoother. Some people slip and make a mistake, generally it is those that end up paying the price for their wrong choices as those that tend to take doing things their way are able to get away with it for quite some time before anything happens to them.
I do not believe that storybook characters are in control of what we do. It is nice to stand back when you do something horrible and say that the devil made me do it but the devil isnt real and cant make you do anything.
im not a believer and i have had sex with anthony (hence the baby lol) but we do intend to marry.
If i did decide to turn to religion because i finally started to believe are you saying god would judge me on all the things i have done that are classed as sins before i came to him?
I mean i have drank, taken drugs, sex before marrige, these are all things the bible days not too do, what would i have to do ask for forgivness for my prior sins? ask to forgive me for things that in my old "belief" wernt actully sins? i am interested i dont mean to be argumentative?
Satan allures, gives temptations and lucks, and
uses at the end
Both have powers!
