Ok. He is calling me and he is writing me now.. He should have his supplies soon. Its been a tough first week and I guess I over reacted.. Even he told me to stop freaking out. He is in jail. He has a way of doing time and talking every day isn't it. I guess I'll have to just deal with that the best that I can. Its hard to go from being together every day to being unable to see or talk to him at all. The good news is that he was given an early release date of 04/2016... They are also going to take his 5 months credit and apply it to that. he can also get good time credit while he is there so things are looking less bleak than I originally thought. I am sorry if I offended anyone or if I came across as "poor me" and not taking anyone else in consideration. I have a lot less time to wait than some of you. I act like its the end of the world and I'm really sorry that I made my situation sound like the worst thing. For me, it is the worst thing. We all deal with a lot of things differently. I'm not handling his time away very well. I just can't grip to it. I'm now on meds that help me sleep but I have terrible nightmares. day by day things will get better. I just wanted to apologize to any of you that were trying to help me and got the rough shoulder. I need to be able to come to this site. This is all I have. No one else gets what I'm going through. You at least share some of the same circumstances.... Take care all of you. and thank you for being there when I needed... Its still seems like a long time but now that he is writing me and sometimes calling I'll be better. the no contact thing was really getting under my skin and I'm sorry.

Really no reason to apologize, at least as far as I am concerned. Your body and mind just got overloaded with a situation you had never experienced before and you panicked.

It has happened to us all at one time or another.

Your guy's release date looks favorable and with the five months credit and good time, he will be out before you know it.

Things always look better when we sit down and analyze them.

I am glad you got on some meds, as that will definitely help. Maintaining somewhat normal sleep patterns are essential to getting through this.

Hey C it's cool the start is always a bit of a mess don't worry about it takes more than that to really upset me!
That's awesome that you know his date and it's less then what you thought just think it might come down a bit more if he dose some programs too.
Iam glad your on something to help you sleep it will help more then you think even with the nightmares...I just get some really weird dreams!

I don't know what i'd do without you , the site, and my man to keep me going in the right direction. I told him that I was weak and that i'd be waiting regardless even if i am crying every day.. he said we won't make it if you do that..you have to get through this and live while i'[m in here...he said he hates knowing i'm sad and wants me to live and tell him everything that I do.... he also said he waits for over a half hr because there are like 60 other guys using 3 phones... its tough to do that all the time but he recognizes that I need to hear his voice.. he just doesn't want me freaking out every time i don't hear from him on the phone. he said there will always be letters but not always a phone call... i don't know how i'll do with that but hoping the meds will help calm me down by the time that happens... thanks to you both...and others on this site i won't end up losing myself during this...many before me and after me will go through the waiting process... i can too... i am strong and faithful to my guy... he needs my strength..not my pity or sadness...he has to focus on what to do to make things better and get home...i recognize that now...it just takes a little from him to set me in the right way....he's my other half...i don't know what i;'d do without him...we both give each other strength..that's what will help get us through it... thanks again!

The meds will help you...and don't worry about it it's all good :)
Your way stronger then what you think it took guts to go on the meds and admit to your man how your going. You will only get stronger with time.
Yep they love hearing what we get up even if it's just doing house work...my man kinda miss doing the dishes with me :) they still wanna hear coz there kinda living though us right now.
Yes the line up for the phone get pretty crazy at times!

I am glad you are back. This site is so important for all of us, and it is ok to go through the roller coaster of this whole mess. Like many said, the beginning is the hardest, and it was just too much to bear for you. At least you don't have to worry about him, hearing his voice and getting his letters. It helps to know that they are ok in a less than ideal situation. You realize yourself now that many others have been where you are and many more will go through this in the future. You are not weaker than any of them, but you might deal with things differently and that is ok. Keep us posted. He might get a lot more time off with programs and all the overcrowding issues. Hang in there.
