With Josh he was charged with so many things all related to the Assult 3. This all happened long before I met him and from everything I know about him in the years between prison the first time around and when I met him he had changed a lot. His mom even tells me that being with me has made him a much better person.
I will stay with him through the whole thing. Granted his time will be a max of 19 months and not into the decades so it will not be as long of a challenge to deal with. However I personally believe that a man should be judged by his character and be given the chance to show that they have changed for the better.
Honestly from reading about the ring thing I would be very hurt and upset. I dont know if that is what this question is coming from mainly for you but it is really a test for unconditional love and for trust as well. I think that if Josh did something like that it would change everything for me because it would hurt me so deeply.

I can personally say I will be there till death do us part. I have always been there as he has been for me. This is just a small bump in the road for the entire family of mine and we will all get through it. With out the love we would have no family and withouth the family we would have no life. So we all love him unconditionaly till the end. I can state that my husband would never ask me to give his ring up ever. In fact when he self surrender they took his small band away (long story) he had me send up with my daughter so he could get back on his hand. It was the only thing he had that represented me while we are seperated. I wear his original on a chain around my neck and it will never come off till he gets home. The love we have for the both of us is what keeps us and our entire family together.

When I met James he was upfront about his past. So all that time we were together he was on the run for VOPs. He was honest and upfront about it so I knew going in there was a chance he would be found. I love him so much and I can't imagine being without him. He was given 3 1/2 years so it was an easy decision to say I'll stand by you. If it was decades I'd probably still stand by him.

My guy and I were together for a year before he went in. We knew each other for several years before that.. When I love someone it's with my whole heart and it's unconditional. It would take something very very bad to make me think twice about staying. This was an easy decision. Staying is the only option. He has my heart. Doesn't mean I like it... But that's the only decision I could make. I'd rather be here waiting for him to come home, then be here NOT waiting for him. I love with everything that I am... so of course I'm waiting for him. If it were decades, I'd still wait for him. Now if I knew he'd never get out, then I might have to move on with my life. Waiting forever isn't an option in my book. I don't want to live my whole life waiting. But waiting a few years (or in my case a year) is well worth the wait. So for me I choose to wait.

I am not staying married to my husband. He knows this, and while it upsets him, he has accepted it. He lied to me and covered his track for over 4 years. He put his family in a public and untenable situation, he has committed a crime that precludes him from spending time with his children (once released) w/out supervision until they are 18 years of age. He downloaded thousands of photos and videos of young girls in sexual circumstances and being raped knowing full well that I had been raped at the age of 15.

I can stand by him as a friend, but it has hurt me too damned much to love him.

I wonder if I am making to much of a deal out of this ring issue? Its just I know he might of ask to help pay for postage to our pro-bono, you know I did not even ask? But it really bothers me cause I have stood by him unconditionally, forgive me I'm at a lose for words right about now.

Scott consumes me in many ways and completely has my heart. I believe that we met for a reason and immediately gravitated towards one another by becoming friends first then dating. I had been with my ex husband for 13 years and can honestly say that I never felt the same way about my ex as I do about Scott. It is just an overpowering feeling of mutual respect, love, giddiness, and happiness. I question the term "unconditional" when it defines love relationships as I think that all relationships are based on SOME conditions. We all have boundaries and lines that we will not tolerate to be crossed or we will be forced to move along with our lives. My love for my son is truly unconditional as there is nothing that he could ever do that would cause me to leave him nor love him any less. However, when it comes to intimate relationships, I do believe that there are conditions that must be met. I will not tolerate infidelity or a breach of trust - those are conditions that I demand - if they are broken then I will choose to move on. I would probably always care about the person to some degree but no longer respect them. So, I am in the haul with Scott until his release. I adore him and he is my soul mate.

I have been in a happy, healthy marriage for 38 years and I feel that any relationship other than love for your children should be conditional---never unconditional. You should set the conditions and stick by them. Define what you think is healthy and use that as your boundary.

I am standing by my daughter. I know she may have had a part in the robbery part but I just can't believe she would have condoned a killing. She is my child and I will be there for her. I love her and not the act. I am the only one in the family who is sticking by her so far.

I am putting my faith in God on this. If it is meant to be it will be, but yes, my love is unconditional and I do forgive him for what he has done and will continue to try to be the best wife I can.

I love my wonderful lover, father, friend and soulmate.I have changed though, and he is aware when I'm really disappointed and fed up with him at times. I sometimes think he is more devoted to this relationship than I am. I feel he understands quite a bit, more than I give him credit for. I can't explain it, it's just a feeling when you know that someone truly wants to be with you and portrays that in his actions and his words. I hope this helps, I know it's tough.

What people don't know about me nad my husabd is what I put us through, cuz of my abuse in the past, it was bad. He stood by me in my lowest time and just helped me and loved me regardless of what was happening to me. How can I not standby him in his hardest times. I was aware of his past when we started dating so it was not a shock to me. We have always been honest with each other.

I (like a previous poster) only believe in unconditional love for my children.

I give you ladies that have husbands/partners/b/f's in prison ALL the credit in the world for sticking by them. I don't know if I would have the strength to do that.

I will always stand by my husband and love him unconditionally. I knew about his criminal history before I met him. I just planned to make a new friend, I tried not to fall in love. Guess God had his own plans. It doesn't matter what Jas does, I'll always love him. I would be hurt if he told me he wanted to sell his ring. I would tell him he couldn't and if he didn't listen I'd make sure he knew how much it hurt me. It would probably cause a lot of undue tension in our marriage.
