I know it's very hard to stay positive with the situations we are all put in! I'm really trying to stay positive for myself but mostly for HIM. The first few weeks I kept thinking there was noway I could get through this, but I did!! I know I have 16 more months to go through and all I can hope is that it goes FAST and that I can see, talk and write a whole whole bunch!! I finally received a letter that my boyfriend had finally got my letters. I Think there was a lapse of about 2 weeks from when he was moved from county to State! He was VERY happy to get them all and told me to write as much as I wanted lol. I'm so glad he didn't think I was over doing it! He also sent me a visitor pass form, I was super excited because for the longest time he wasn't sure he wanted visit's. He told me I changed that for him and that he was looking forward to seeing me when his reception time was over!! These are all little things that keep me going and keeps me looking to the future, I feel like I have something to look forward to and will make our time apart seem like it's going fast! Everyday is a new say and I'm really really trying to stay happy and supportive :)
When he is released and you two can be together, that will be something that you and he will look back on years from now. You will cherish that memory and smile whenever you think of that day.
Keep the faith. Just think, that day is coming soon.
