Where I was in prison there were only two telepones for 90 inmates. Each inmate talked fifteen minutes. You do the math, but it is obvious that there are times when a telepone is just not available.
Inmates don't have the luxury of just picking up a phone and calling whenerver they choose.

Yes its hard when they don't call when they say they will your mind gos start to the what's happened and are they ok.....yes I was in your shoes a few weeks ago and yes I totally flipped out! I end up calling the prison and found out that the prisonsers phones where out.
Not all the guys are fair with how long they are on. Most do their one call, then let someone else have it, but some sit on it and make a bunch of calls. My fiance would get so irritated he would get out of line rather than getting pissed off and get in a fight.
Some days they have a million dr appointments, classes, etc, and they are just worn out mentally. Some days they are not in a good mood, and don't want to get snappy with us, when it isn't us they are mad at. Can you imagine being in a place like that? I would be such a witch with a B, or cry all the time.
I have a woman friend in prison too, she says the women are so aggressive and almost worse than the men sound like they are.
It will be ok. He will call.
