They'll move him any day now

I feel so nervous, it's like the beginning all over again. I am trying to stay as calm and positive as I can, but I am anxious and feel sort of shell-shocked...sometimes I just can't believe this is happening.
He'll be in reception nearby and I can visit after one week.
I need to regain my footing and just take this one day at a time, I know. I'm just feeling shaky right now.

Hey it's ok each move is a bit scary but try looking at it this way it's a step closer to him coming home to where he belongs. It's how I look atit anyway!

Stay strong and keep the faith, Angela.

The worst is behind you now. The uncertainty of his sentence, the court dates, and all the worry should be abating.

At least now you KNOW you CAN do this. All you have to do is wait for your guy to come home, and that day WILL come, trust me.

Every new event will put you in a whirlwind. After he's in reception, you'll get used to that until he's scheduled to move to mainline. It's always difficult at first, but you get by. I've been dealing with this for over a year after his conviction; at times I felt like a nervous wreck, but friends here like Rew helped me through each transition.

It's true- every transition is so hard. I keep telling myself, it's been 7 1/2 months already, I can DO this...I'm just having a hard time with the change & uncertainty.

You are a tough lady, a survivor, just like the rest of the ladies on this board.

Take one day at a time, and ALWAYS keep your eyes and heart focused on the day that your guy comes home to you.

And absolutely REFUSE to allow anything to become an impediment to your goal.

You CAN do this!!! Hell, if you have done it for almost eight months, you can do it for eight more months. Then eight more months, then eight more months......until you have climbed the mountain and are at the summit.

Keep a positive attitude and keep the communications going between you and your guy. Write, write, write, then write some more.
