And speaking of spiders and paranoid... I'm paranoid of spiders (really just a phobia) but was dreaming about a spider the other night, and woke up with a spider bite on my leg.. Sorry to go on another issue there.
It's hard for me to imagine not believing in God because it's just not something I"m capable to even try to figure out.. I can't even come up with the words to explain it.. LOL.. I know there are a lot of people that don't believe in God, but I think if you pray at any point, you must somewhere deeeeeeep down believe in Him. Even if you only pray at the absolute worse times in your life.
yes i agree partly if you pray for help in your worst time then you must belive in something but not nessecerially (bad spelling) god! i think as humans we sometimes get so desperate whether we believe in god or not we HOPE he does exsist when we see no way anyone or anything else can help us!
i am not denying the bible may contain some truth, maybe jesus did exsist, maybe he did preform miricles in public and man wrote it down, and if god wanted us to somehow translate the content of the bible why is it from years ago? why do we have no modern day proof? why doesnt god send another jesus figure to help RESTORE peoples faith? i would like to believe in god, i am very open minded to all religions, even though i find it hard to want to adapt them to my own lifestyle. i accept the idea of Karma and i like many of buddists ideas, but i cant take to thew idea of 1 "man" controling the universe, one "man" being the basis of all human life
I think Buddhist's have a good thing going, too. Karma and being passive and peaceful are great.
When people talk about "end times", they are referring to Jesus' return, by the way. We believe He will.

I have to say if that did happen i would be willing to believe.
I guess i am just one of them people who has to see if to believe it.
Maybe it comes from me not being able to trust easily, maybe i need to learn to trust again and put my faith in people i can physically see before i try putting my faith into someone i will never be able to see. x
When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory. All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats, and He will put the sheep at his right hand and the goats at the left. Then the king will say to those at His right hand, Come, you that are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world; for I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you gave me clothing, I was sick and you took care of me, I was in prison and you visited me. ... Truly I tell you, just as you did it to one of the least of these who are members of my family, you did it to me.
Then He will say to those at His left hand, You that are accursed, depart from me into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels; for I was hungry and you gave me no food, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, I was a stranger and you did not welcome me, naked and you did not give me clothing, sick and in prison and you did not visit me. ... Truly I tell you, just as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to me. And these will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life. (Matthew 25:31-36, 40-43, 45-46 NRSV)
Adherents of millennialism, mostly Protestant Christians, regard the two passages as describing separate events: the "sheep and goats" judgment will determine the final status of those persons alive at the end of the Tribulation, and the "Great White Throne" judgment will be the final condemnation of the unrighteous dead at the end of all time, after the end of the world and before the beginning of the eternal period described in the final two chapters of Revelation.
