My husband knows that I would be done with him if he pulled that after all the love, loyality and support I've given him all these years. He even tells me that he couldn't do that to me after being so blessed in our marriage.

If you were my best friend and presented this situation to me my advice would be to give him a trial separation. Tell him you love him but need some space. That means that he can go on talking to this woman, but it also means that you can persue men yourself or go meet new people. For six months (or a year, whatever you agree on) you can date whomever you want (and he can send letters and have visitors from whomever he wants.) After a year you reevaluate and see what you want to do (get back together or legally separate.)

The reason I suggest this is because I briefly read your journal and you've been questioning your committment to this relationship, to this life style for a while now.

I apologize is my suggestion is against your religion. I don't mean to offend you.

I have seen several couples who tried trial separations get back together. It's not the end of the relationship.

Are you sure he didn't send you the letter on purpose to get a rise out of you, get some attention, create some drama???

In any situation I have told my husband from the very beginning that if he did anything like this I would take him for every cent he has. He is not in prison, our son is.
I know that it is your decision in the end, the heartache won't last forever but the niggling in the back of your mind will (is he doing it again) will.

I am sorry this has happened..I cant imagine what you're going through..I understand what you mean when the situation isn't so easy..You love him and don't want to bail at this moment..you're an amazing woman for sticking by his side.I hope he realizes what he has before it's too late..
