I don't believe PA is GTL but I'm not sure and thats what I'm trying to find out. It used to be AT&T, I know they can have phone cards, but must they be bought in commensary? Also this is for a county facility. Any one know, my friend said when she calls them to try and find out they get very nasty and usualy hang-up. This is one of those cases wher the kid should be in a mental health facility but since they have no room they put him in prison, he only flips on his family when he doesn't take his medication. I feel so sorry for this kid, he is now 27, i know him since he is 2. Something life this gets me highly upset, sorry Im rammbling.

When my fiancee was in county he was allowed so many phone calls collect then he had to have money on his books to call. It has been 3 months since I have spoken to him and in his letter he said he has to buy phone cards from the commissary to call home. He is now at SCI Mahanoy. I'm sorry I couldn't be much help to you. I am still trying to figure all this stuff out myself. I understand your feelings and how upsetting it can be and don't apologize this is the place to ramble and vent and have people understand.

I'm finding out the hard way that phone calls are very expensive. Right now, I put money on his commissary account. He calls his father's house phone collect, but it still costs him over $4 to initiate the call even tho it is collect. When he calls my cell phone, it costs $8 out of his account, plus the minutes for my cell phone. However, we are far away from him, so if you're close by, it may be different What a racket!!

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus).
