magazine subscriptions

I imagine we are all on a tight budget. I just wanted to let you know that on the website www.wildforwags.com I got a subscription for my brother for a yr for $3.99 to rolling stone. there are different ones on there for really cheap all the time. someone had recommended i send him a magazine subscription so I did. It did make me feel better to know there is still things i can do for him to make his time in there a little easier. I guess i am lucky he is in federal because we can email. He is taking a GED class and Nutrition class and 1 on current events. He said he is really busy all day now. that made me feel better knowing that will make the time go faster. I am trying to stay busy so it will go fast for me too. Can't wait until 11-25-2013!

that is such a good idea on your son's part to want to put his money into a CD. you figure any interest made is money ahead. They release these guys from prison with nothing and wonder why they end up back in there. It is sad to think about all the ones in there that had their family and friends turn their backs on them.
lady lost, I am glad you found some magazines for him. it is great that with a little searching we can still do things to make their time a little easier.

personally I wouldnt set up a seperate account for my guy... he got himself in their i ant him to earn his money out here....i shouldnt have to pay for everything... but its just my opinion

If i did the saveings account thing down hear it would corse a tax problem same as putting it in his account for him. Gotta love Aussie tax laws!
But i can send stuff into him wich helps him but he dose yell at me if i send to many magzines his worryed about me being able to pay bills and things. ( so sweet!) so i only send him 2 per month.
As for getting food and stuff there are cheep shops that you can go to my food bill went from about $250 down to $150 for a month oh and getting stuff in bulk saves heaps too!
