Thank you for writing. I have found out where they have taken him to reception for 2 months.I can only write to him which I will. I need to know he's ok. I can't even sleep or enjoy any moment of my life right now. It's like I'm locked up with him.

having someone incarcerated is not an easy thing. Yes family, etc are serving the prison sentence right along with them. It is not easy and can test everyone involved. Know that your letters mean the world to people locked up as they may not have much communication with people on the outside. Just be there for him

We do the time along side them....Totally sucks. Iam glad you know where he is now and can write to him its better than nothing but i give you a heads up prisons are really really slow on getting mail out and do have rules as to what you can send in so check that out ok.

Thank you hurtinmom for writing. I have wrote to him and that has already made me feel a bit better I received a letter from him also. I know in my heart this is a long process that won't get easier but managable in time I pray. As long as I can be a part of his life as much as possible and make him feel wanted and loved and supported. That's all I want. I think him also.x

Yes suchaslife I did:) it was a beautiful letter as well. For him to be in such horrible situation with a positive vibe makes me want to be that much more supportive.

I ended up in same situation 13 days ago although I no where he is and have written at least every other day ..but I find I obsess about My phone waiting for a call I cried I didn't eat or sleep the first week am starting to a little the past couple days but they expect everyone to drop them and most will but would he do it to you..my bf and I talked many hrs about us when he went in he said go on with my life he doing 10yrs and live just be there for me is his thought after a week of crying I realized prison system is my new life i found websites support groups and am reading and educating myself as much as I can so im not caught off guard what I can do to help him and just trying to live they are going to live thru us we can process feelings on the outside whenever we want they can only process on paper and I realized the first 4 letters I sent had to be miserable to read i can't imagine how it must have made him feel when I got his first letter he was trying to be positive in my letters now I tell when I'm happy sad but I feel what they need to hear is how much there loved missed and how we will always be there for them when im feeling so alone abandon angry sad I turn to the groups for strength ...today I get to see him for a 15 min visit so excited your loved one when incarcerated his time stopped all he has is memories we have to live for them cause they are going to live thru us keep your head up be strong even when you don't think you can we can do it your already strong it takes a strong women to stand by her man when incarcerated. prisontalk.com is an excellent source of info and groups google your local area for support groups im going to first meeting for wives of inmates next week I hope this helps some but I'm only 14 days now into it but today im confident tomorrow may be different

Iam glad you have a visit but do take some tissues with you and a change of clothes including shoes just in case the place his at doesn't like what you havd on......there rules are not black and white and can and will change depending on who is doing the visit processing.
