I would tell her to check with her case worker, or one of the guards there that is decent.
I hope it works out for her.
He had to give them a picture of his intentions on how he would NOT re offend how he had in the past. He had to say things like he would go to counseling, and get on med's if prescribed again.
I don't recall what she is in for. But if she gives them a picture of how her life will be, the changes she wants to make, and her intentions of everything from jobs, to being with family more, to attending church. Just tell them good things they would like to hear, and make it believable.
Your daughter must file a motion---a petition---with the sentencing court for a judicial review or judicial release. Judicial release is entire discretionary and the judge may or may not release her.
Have her go to the law library. Any law clerk that knows anything can help her.

I have had people tell me, "Oh, I will just write a letter to the judge to see if I can get (fill in the blank) done for Johnny's case."
It does not work that way. All changes must go through the courts, which means there must be a hearing and a court proceeding. A court proceeding mandates that any changes be a part of the court record and preserves any findings. As in the case of a judicial review, a court proceeding gives the DA the chance to oppose the review.
Just trying to educate everyone and help us understand our complex----and very unfair----legal system.
