No, I won't be testifying, but we will have a large contingent there:
6 sisters, 2 nieces & me. :) He is accused of sexual misconduct & the prosecutor made him out to be a great offender of women, but other than the prosecutor, the only women who will be in court will be his supporters. I hope that irony isn't lost on the judge.

Hope that you hear back soon from CURE. I really don't know how I would have gotten through some of the hardest days without being able to talk to people who don't judge ME for loving him.

Do you know where your son will be sent to serve his sentence yet? I hope that it won't be too far so you will be able to visit easily.

does Mark have a court appointed lawyer are a hired one?... my husband and i hired a lawyer from Dallas a retired Navy jag...

craig was 13.5 years in the Navy when he got into very serious trouble... his Navy career is down the tubes,,, one screw up is all it takes...

melissa i am not sure where craigs prision will be.. texas is very big driving distance can be far...

is Marks parents going to court with you all ?

Well, I will hope for the best for him & you in terms of his placement.

Mark had a court appointed attorney, but not from the public defenders office. He was very good and we don't blame him for feeling forced into taking the plea. It was really the US Attorney's office and the judge who did us in - and the lying conniving #^$%%$'s who started this whole thing.

Mark's Dad passed away several years ago and his Mom is elderly. We really don't want her to be there to hear all of the nasty things that will be said - she is having a hard enough time with this as it is.

Is Craig going through the State court or Federal? Mark is in the Federal system.

Hi, i am very upset and was wondering if any of you have a phone connecting problem with your love one... when my son calls from jail i press the right number to talk to him ,,, i can hear Craig say hello, hello and i am saying craig i am here, but no signal... i feel so bad because we werent able to speak to one another...

Have you tryed ring the prison to see if theres a problem with there phones?? And you could also ring the phone comeny that your with tell them whats going on and see if they can sort it out for you? Just some ideas and yes i had something simeler happen to me and it dos make it that bit hader when you cant talke to them. Huggs i hope you get to talk to him soon.

Thats ok and they should because you are family i do hope they give you some answaers about it. Its hard enough haveing them in there without beinh able to talk to them.

craig my son was telling me the jail workers bring him his prescription medicine... if craig takes it he is has to pay a fee ,,, the medicine is already paid for i gave the court craigs medicine so he could have it,,,

Omg! Thats just crazy! Ive been thinking for some time now that the prisons are only there to make money out of them.

its very unfair and more unfairness to come... i sent craig word search puzzles that i print out...so far craig has not recieved any of them...

He should get them without any problems.....they might be takeing there time to sort out mail i know where my man is there about a week and a hafe behind in sending it out. Also it changes what they can and cant have depanding on wich CO is in charge. Try calling the prison to find out what you can and cant send in i know its a pain but in the long run it will help. Oh and what you can and cant send in changes from place to place.

Hello,I will be here to offer you support. I will need it also. I have a son that will be 21 next week and he has been sentenced to prison for 14yrs. He has left behind 2 kids and 1 he has never held yet. This is the hardest thing that I have ever had to go through in my life. What makes it harder for me is that my son is having a hard time with it. He feels as though he has messed his life up and has no will to live. I try to explain to him that his 2 kids are his reason to live. I worry about him every single moment of the day.

Hi ya sherita911 it sounds like your son has lots to live for!! Keep reminding him and if you can send him photos of his kids for him try and keep him incided in there lives as much as you can. Good luck and i am hear if ypu need me huuggss

Hi Judylyn, I know all too well what you're going through. My son has been in Prison 21 days less a year now. He went in Aug. 21, 2010 & it is still very hard. It was the saddest day of my life when I saw the Police come to my son's door & handcuff him and put him the Police car. I attended ever court hearing, trial, etc & to see him in an Orange jumpsuit handcuffed to other prisoner's were heart breaking. I haven't been able to hug my son & only to have been able to talk to him through a glass since 1 year now & believe me that seems like it's been 20 yrs. ago. It's been a very rough road for all of us but only through the Grace & Love of God has we gotten through this far. My son also has some mental issues which we had seeked help for years & they could never help us so unfortunately he fell through the cracks. He due to be released in Feb. 2012 but they are still trying to find him housing upon his release for an extended period which will be located where he's currently in Prison, which is over 6 hrs. drive from me. I haven't even seen him in person since March because of the distance but he do phone every week. I'll keep you & your son in prayer because without my faith in God me or my son would not of made it through this long. Praying for you, Glenda
