Ok, the most romantic thing I have read today is this... The days I went the 2nd time from not hearing from him when he didn't call me... he was actually writing me with a broken pencil that was so small he barely kept his fingers around it. He wrote me every day and the letter was 8 pages long. Then the 2nd letter was 12 pages long. I have no doubt of this man's feelings anymore as I did in the beginning of this.... For him to take the time and use whatever scrap paper he could find with a small tiny pencil between his fingers... he wrote to me... waiting for his supplies to get to him as they were two days late as they moved him in the middle of the order.. that is so special. I just had to share... Romantic even... He sent me a commisary form to keep so it could remind him when he gets out of why he doesn't want to go back to the "hellhole" those are his words...not mine... such a potty mouth!

What a turn of events.

First you are worried that he is not writing and might not love you anymore, and now he is worried that you will not be there for him when he gets out and you don't love HIM anymore.

This could only happen in a prison relationship.

ha ha ha... Rew, its crazy... I think he has actually out written me.. I have been writing every day two pages a day give or take but he's written me 8 and 12 page letters.. I guess I need to stop my complaining and man up... I'm still going to cry and miss him but I need to stop the poor me stuff. He really does adore me and i'm just going to have to do the best I can for him.

That is the most sensible and common sense posts I have seen you make in quite a while, especially the part about "manning up."

There is an old saying, "Watch what you wish for--you may get your wish." You wanted letters, you are getting letters.

You may have created a letter writing monster in your boyfriend, but that is what you wanted.....

That is so sweet that he was writing that whole time! I think us ladies tend to forget that some of the things they want to do may not happen when they even hope. I know D hated not having the supplies to write me the first week. He ended up trading two meal trays in order to get what he needed to write me. (sniff, sniff). In fact D was so excited in his most recent letter that he actually has a normal pen, not a tiny bendy pen. lol Yes, I believe your man loves you if he wrote that much with so little.

You may get him questioning your faithfulness. And questioning if you do truely love him....just keep in mind that he hears a lot from others that you will leave, that you don't love him, etc. be patient with him. Know that he is going through a lot and hearing constant negativity. Keep reminding him how much you love and miss him and want to wait for him.

Hub knows this, yet he gets weighed down by negativity. He can't wait for mail to show up with one of my letters. And he sends out a letter everyday as well. Besides reading, he writes a lot. It helps them as much as it helps you.

So glad you have a lot of pages to read.

Yes, he did say that letters from me are what he looks forward to and they often bring him hope. He says that I've lifted his spirits in many of my letters. I thought I was boring him but I'm glad that I made him happy.

Letters mean a lot in there. My man tells me its one of the things he looks forward to in there.
It's good to hear you sounding a bit better. Keep writing those letters to him!

My guy has a cellmate that doesn't get calls or letters and he says that the man is beside himself. He says he either did too many drugs or needs to be on medication. I feel bad for the guy.
