The 50% or 75% I assume is the amount of time which must be served before an inmate in Connecticut is eligible for parole.
The good time credits are still at five days per month, or 60 days per year.
Is this what you are referring to? I just read the CT statutes regarding good time credits in CT.

Also, last month he only got 3 days credit and not 5 like he usually does. He thinks that that means he was capped for the year... he had a parole meeting but the questions he was asked were all on other cases that have been closed for years! He doesn't think he did so well... and they haven't put him in his classes yet so that is also a worry... I guess I just wanted to know how common it is that they do early release...
