First of all I want to thank you all for your responces, it was done with respect although religion, and God is a very debateable topic. Here is why I brought this topic up. I have a phobia about fires, now living on the 2nd floor my phobia ia survicing once again, why, because this apartment is a death trap, only 2 ways out, by breaking a window, or exiting down the front steps, which isn't safe there is a trap door that leads into the basement. I lost basically every thing to a 2 alarm blaze in 1997, I thank God that I did not lose my life at that point of time, but we did lose a kitten. What brought this question up about God, and why things happen is cause this past Sunday there were 2 serious fires, both on Sunday. The one 10 people lost every thing, but are safe. The other one, 5 children were involved, all under the age of 13, only one was able to escape by jumping out a second floor window, the 4 others died, the mother could not get to her children, she fell asleep on the 1st floor. By the time the fire men arrived it was to late......This really got to me, and thats why I questioned God. Once again thank you for your input.
