I am so happy that you have been a member of this forum from almost the time of your guy's arrest until now. I consider you a dear friend and am so happy for you and Adam.
You story is one of hope, patience, and courage. You have displayed all three characteristics.
But from another standpoint, your story is so important because it shows other people that a person CAN get through this and that there IS a light at the end of this dark tunnel we call the American prison system. For some, the light may be dim and seem far aways, but the light is still there.
I remember talking to you a few times in the early going and you were scared, confused, had no idea what would happen, and generally a nervous wreck at times. But you found the courage to persevere and now you are only 34 days away from reuniting with the man you love.
These success stories are so important as they give us all hope for the future, and sometimes hope is all we have.

Yes, I was a mess for months. There were times when I really felt totally lost and without hope. There was one person who pulled me out of the pit of despair- YOU. I don't know what I would have done without your compassion, support, and guidance. Thank you so much for helping me, and for helping everyone here.
You are an Angel.
Love,
Angela
Why couldn't he talk to you for 6 weeks? That's awful. I would go nuts.
So what are your plans for the first day??? And after that? I bet you are scurrying around getting ready. That's exciting. I remember our last time he got out. Yes, there are butterflies in stomachs for these things. You will be fine.
Such, yes, it is a great feeling! I finally feel excited.
Wendee, I don't know why he wasn't able to call. In his letters he said he kept trying but the calls just wouldn't go through. He wrote to his counselor a couple of times and she insisted that it was my fault somehow, but I set up the account perfectly, and it inexplicably worked this past Sunday without me doing anything, so....?? Just another bump on the treacherous ride of incarceration!
As for plans, I'm going to bake a chocolate cake with raspberries and buy some champagne, wear my prettiest dress, and let him decide what he would like to do. I am taking some time off, but I'm very poor, so we'll spend it at home, I think. I have a feeling that will be perfect as far as he's concerned. :)
Thank you all for your support and encouragement. I hope that thinfs work out for the best for everyone here.
He has 50 more days to give. Coming home a new man, changed for the better in so many ways.
