Hate to say it, but my mom usually still does the cooking. I have made a bunny cake before, where you use 3 round cake pans if I remember right and 2 are for the body and cut the 3rd one in the shape of 2 ears. Then frost with real whipping cream and coconut and decorate the rabbit with candy for eyes, nose, mouth.

Usually the family just gets together and has pot luck, (I don't like pot luck cause I dont know what the environment of the household bringing it is like) Anyway, we play games out side if its nice enough. This year I am going to stay in and wait for a call.

My dad always gets a honey baked ham and we have all the usual sides with it. I'm going to get an early morning call from my honey, take the kids to the amusement park, then we're going to my dads to eat!!

We usually go to a park and have a picnic. It is usually buffet style and everyone brings something. We usually plan sub sandwiches along with diffrent finger foods and spring type salads. Then we have a egg hunt for the kids. This year we will not be doing due to certain cicumstances. I will be spending my afternoon in the visiting center and eating Easter dinner from the vending machine.....LOL.....

My dad just had surgery, so mom and I decided on ham sandwiches and homemade tater salad. Yum

However, I did take myself for my own Easter dinner tonight. This is only the second time I have ventured out alone like this and it was a disaster...lol I went to chinese buffet, where of course, I ran into a bunch of people who asked where Michael was. Then I set my food down and went to get a fork and the busser threw my food away...lol It's funny now, but at the time, I almost cried...
