CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS? DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS IN NY HAS TAKEN AWAY OUT SIDE SUPPORT FROM PRISONERS, NOW IT MAKES ONE REALLY WONDER HOW MUCH OF THIS GOES ON? I HEARD THAT A PRISONER TRIED TO COMMIT SUICIDE BECAUSE A SUPPORT GROUP WAS TAKEN AWAY, SO WHAT DOES DOC'S DO, THEY GIVE HIM A TIER 3 TICKET, AND SHOVE HIM IN THE HOLE/BOX, SUCH WONDERFUL TYPICAL IDIOTS. ITS A SHAME THAT HUMAN BEINGS CAN BE TREATED AND GET SO MUCH MORE MENTAL ABUSE IN THE SYSTEM, I WONDER IF THESE IDIOTS CONSIDER THIS REHABILITATION????? NOW THIS IS SURELY CRUEL AND UNUSUAL PUNISHMENT. A TIER 3 IN NY IS ONE OF THE HIGHEST TICKETS A PERSON CAN GET, COULD HOLD YEARS OF BOX/HOLE TIME IF NOT BEATEN. I DON'T KNOW WHO IS THIS GUY IS BUT IT WAS A VERY RELIABLE SOURCE WHERE I GOT THIS INFORMATION FROM....MY PRAYERS ARE SURELY GOING OUT TO HIM.

I absolutely think the DOC in most states are the most corrupt, inhumane group of power hungry sickos there is in the US. They can frame our guys, beat them, harass their family, threaten them and us, do things to them that people would be arrested for, for doing to animals. They have more power than the judge once the person is in their care. That's the way it is in MN and Wisc. As I have said, The Commissioner of Corrections has a vendetta out for my son because of his drug dealing son, and he gets to my son in so many ways. I wrote recently how they framed son for doing something he couldn't of possibly done, and if they reviewed tapes he could prove where he was, and wasn't. There was supposed to be a hearing but they told him it would do no good, they wouldn't look at the tapes, and he was going in the hole, which he got no shower for 11 days. I just want to anihilate these assholes. They let him get into a class for printing. He got A's!! My son who didn't even graduate. He was doing so well, then the ass had to knock him down. He got "fired" from his printing job that he studied so hard for to get. Now he is only allowed out of his room from 6am to Noon. For 90 days. Oh I want this Commissioner's son to get caught, but he won't, and would never go to prison. Son was also in another prison a kid got so distraught over them all being locked down for Xmas he hung himself. The atrocities in these prison's are endless and relentless and our wonderful government looks the other way. It is time we unite somehow, and do something. We have all heard alot of horror stories.

I totally agree with ou nowhere. THey don't care about ANYTYHING other than making money.That is what the prison system is, a very good moneymaker for the government.

I am curious, does anyone know how women are being treated? Most of the members here have loved ones in male facilities. I might be looking at time in a female minimum security facility. All these posts make me scared as hell. I have never been in any trouble before. Here in Arizona there are no facilities that house just women so they are combined. I am getting my teeth fixed before any chance of going in too. Just went to the dentist yesterday. I pray every day that I wont be found guilty and be sent to prison. But I also know I must prepare myself for my children should I that happen.

I don't know anyone in a women's facility. I wish you luck, and hope you don't have to go. I do know in MN they fix your teeth for you. If they want to put you in, make them pay for all that stuff. They are making money off of prisoner's and their families anyway
