Families of Prisoners Support Group
This community is dedicated to families that have been disrupted by prison. Having a loved one incarcerated or having been incarcerated comes with its own unique challenges that require support and understanding. Join the group to find others who know what you're going through, and to seek advice or share your experience.
God willing, he'll be released April 30th. It feels like forever still. This winter is really hard. The financial strain is the most difficult thing, as heartless as that sounds. I hope when he's home that we can crawl out of this black pit of debt and have some peace of mind.
Well, Angie, you have almost made it to the finish line and won the war.
Remember when we first met you didn't think you could do this and then there were all those times when you felt you were at the end of your rope?
I TOLD you that you could do this. I knew you could.
But, it has been a helluva ride, hasn't it? I bet you have learned a lot about yourself.
I hope that throughout all this you have learned that you are a lot stronger than you thought you were and that this ordeal makes the bond stronger between you and the guy you love.

You have came a long way. I too, remember your darker times, and you had many of them.
I wish you the best in life, always. You are a good friend to me, and others. We spent many days and nights writing back and forth to each other. You got me through many rough times. I would look every morning and during the day to see what you had to say.

Think of it as a learning experience as to what we can go through, then hope you never have to do it again. And soon he will be helping you and yes, it is nice to have two incomes. BUT the best part is that they are just there in your daily life.
I miss the simple things like driving together to work, in the car. Our long talks. Holding hands, shopping even. Life will be good again Angela. In just a little bit. Hold on, it will be happening.
Yes, I have changed, Wisconsin. I feel like I'm about a thousand years old, but my heart is open.
