God bless the addict they are the walking dead but the dead can live again, and miracles still happen every day.
He used while taking it and died in 01.
I think the shit is useless and most addicts do also. It may work for a very few but I dont know or heard of anyone who it did.
It's harder to kick than heroin also. they dont give suboxone or methadone in jail.
I have insisted they go to AA in our town but they feel this is enough-twice a week.
Does anyone know anything about vitamins to replenish the body? Or does this help?
I am having trouble putting myself first-I know I need to do this but can't right now. I start back with classes next week, so will have to put my son on the backburner.
My husband won't allow them to move back here unless they go by our rules--they won't like that so hopefully won't ask. I've really thought about letting them stay in our garage if it comes to it--even though it's 0 here right now. Better than being homeless-but still gotta do the rules.
Thank you all again.

I used to stay up couldn't sleep because I was worring about my addict. Then one day I realized his addiction is completely out of my control, if he used there wasn't anything I could do. I was wasting time looking for him and eventually he would call or show up. So I started sleeping and if he called in the middle of night I wouldn't answer. Learning to detach with love was the best thing for me I ever did.
Good luck.
As a parent we have always loved ,but how you detach when you know your child may die?
