Well obviously my son is clearly not sober or even trying to be. I had a nagging feeling that he was lying about where he went last night and I was right. I snooped in his wallet today and yes I was snooping because he lives in my house is basically supported by my husband and I and as his mom i feel i have that right. So I found a rolled up dollar bill well we all know what that is used for to snort something or another and when i confronted him (and we have discussed my searches before and he knows I will do them at anytime because this is my house and I have every right to not allow drugs in it ) He of course tried to lie his way out of it , A little more questioning and he finally came clean and admitted to doing coke I really feel at this point that he may never ever learn and I am so disheartened. It was only 3 weeks ago when i found him practically friggin dead in his room from a heroin relapse and it scared him so he says. so now I guess he's switching to cocaine? What the hell is it gonna take I don't even know anymore. He is only 18 years old and I feel he has destroyed his life .Sadly he is taking the rest of us down with him. I know detach well how do you detach from your child that you love more than yourself? I will not enable him by making excuses covering up etc but I just can't help from feeling so sad for him myself my husband and his 2 little sisters. No one asked us if we wanted to go on this ride it is just not fair, The saddest part of this whole story is that i told him to get in the bathroom and take a drug test so he says ok and starts to go upstairs I said no where are you going ? I then asked my husband to go in the bathroom with him to take the test and that is when he came clean cause then he told me he knew he would pass because he had clean urine how can that be you just admitted you did drugs last night and he told me he had his own clean urine save for just such an occasion wow I am just so proud !
