Wishing you peace
I'm so sorry your son checked out of rehab. It's so frustrating and we do tend to feel guilty and wonder what we did wrong to deserve this. But you already know it is not your fault. Everyone here understands why you can't let him back home even if other friends and family do not. It's so hard for people to understand what we go through and how we have to handle our addicts.

I know it's hard, but try to enjoy your new home and not focus all your energy on what may or may not happen with your son. If he is anything like my son, he will eventually call you when he needs something, or when he's ready to go back to rehab. Unfortunately, we all have to take things "one day at a time" just like our addicts.
Keeping you and your family in my prayers.
