As most know, our son signed himself into rehab before the holidays, well, he checked himself out, just left. Because someone needed him, someone who sacrificed everything for his 'well being'. REALLY? And what are we chopped liver? I didn't say anything like 'i'm disappointed' I just said it is his life and up to him. He hasn't talked to me, not answering calls, fb messages ignored....even on his birthday. I had to sing on his answering service. This use to be the boy who was my little man, my everything, so funny, so full of life.

This drug sucks. I'm so freaking mad and now there are all these bad batches, 24 od's in PA, 5 in NH, they are all around us, like someone is trying to kill the addicts. And I have to say, I'm mad, I'm sad and I'm scared for him, the kid that says he's (get ready for it) 'responsible when he's using' How is USING responsible? Anyhow, yeah real responsible, now he has Hep C.....

I don't know this kid anymore. I KNOW he's in there. I just can't seem to find the right avenue to find him.

I will always love the man he USE to be. I will pity the person he is. I will pray for his safety and his well being. I just wished he could find the strength in himself to get better, to beat this. He is our only child.

My husband is so mad at him, and sad for him as well.

I will NEVER allow him back here, one of his friends messaged me and asked why he wasn't able to live with us in our new home. She and I are good friends but when I explained it to her she understood. I will never do it again no matter HOW much he begs, he could show up on our doorstep, I would still turn him away. I'm done being part of his addiction.

I've been so hurt feeling like I did something wrong to deserve this silent treatment, when we KNOW it is his shame that keeps him from talking to me.

On the flip side, I love our new home, our new state and town, but I still have that anvil hanging over my head and I just await for when the cable breaks and it comes crashing down on my head.
