Talk to your health insurance company first. With our HMO there is a contract provider for AODA treatment. They provide counseling and outpatient treatment. In order to get in patient treatment covered by insurance, the contract provider for out patient treatment has to write a referral. And, there is only one contract provider for out patient treatment. Jainlor I am sorry - what is tc? I know that I have a lot to learn.
I sometimes feel that being away from his home town may be better. To get away from the influences he has here. So much to figure out.
Thanks again!
there is at least one in your area. google it!
Best of luck to you and your son!
anyplace can be better than being in our homes, when they make the choice to get better.
Sometimes we have to let go of whats killing us, even if its killing us to let go......
Sometimes we have to let go - to let one grow.
How do we get through this....??
prayer, deep breathing, support here, and I made a little saying of him "failing forward towards success"
I had to let him fall, fail and flounder till he was good and ready to get better. realizing it was out of my control was the hard part. Loving them can't save them. we all wish you the very best
I appreciate the comments on seeking beyond detox and counseling dmatt...I have lots of homework to do.
I hope he gets to that place that he is ready. I hope I can do (or not do) what I need to in order for him to get there. Listening to all of your words of advice has been the best medicine for me.
Happy Friday to you all!
