He's finally in. I was a little concerned that he would bolt at the last second. But he didn't. Now we got 28 days. By the time he gets out, he will have 3 months clean and sober. And hopefully the tools to stay that way. He's supposed to call me in the next day or two. I'm proud of him.

He called tonight. He's miserable. Good. This isn't a flippin picnic. Not for any of us. That's the price you gotta pay. I told him that I loved him. That I missed him. And that I'm proud of him for taking this step. I left it at that.
I have not ventured into our bedroom yet. I'm sure there will be some crying in there. But I'm just not ready yet. Maybe I'll sleep on the couch tonight. There has been minimal crying on the couch. And I've been planted here for the past 3 hours.
I'll figure this alone thing out. Just gonna take a couple days, that's all.
