Oh my friends,,, need you,,, a liitle high anxiety,, which I've been doing really good,, however I have a birthday coming up on Wednesday,, in the past all my kids,,, especially Katelin has always made my day special,, so this one is going to be a tough one,,, of course I have two more days., like my sponser said,, don't worry about Wednesday,, your other three,, plus Ava will make it feel special,,, let go,, release,,, I know practice what I preach,,, but I am human,,, and my heart feels a liitle heavy,,, yep having my pitty-party , I know go ahead,,, but be sure to put those big girl pants on, some lipstick on( momma always said it will make you feel better,, Gosh I miss her,, which adds to my pity party),, anywhoo there no place like you guys to bring me comfort right now,,,, although Wednesday will be a extremly tough one,,, maybe it's menapause I am turning 47

Kim as you said, we are all human! Of course these special days make our hearts heavy..I also think the other kids and little Miss Ava will make your day special. Perhaps thinking about it today will ebnable you to enjoy your special day on Wednesday. I'll say a prayer for you and many hugs to you!

47 is young! 40 is the new 20, you work it!! Yes it's easier said than done, and your allowed to whine. Hell I have only been here 3 days and I feel like I took over the place with my whining.

If she could, I believe in my heart that your daughter would be there to celebrate with you and hug her mommy. I don't think for a minute she has stopped loving you or anyone else in her family; she is just lost right now, and I pray that she will soon find herself and her way back to those who really love her. Praying for her and you!

Kim, I love you girl, you know that and you have till midnight tonight to feel a little glum and blue and I know how your heart is heavy, but come tomorrow you look in that mirror, and you say 47 ! and I don't need any botox, I don't need a facelift! because I am the most magnificent, beautiful, women! I have so much to show for it.

Kim you are one of the strongest moms i know but you are a mom who loves her daughter and has a right to miss her . No one can be strong ALL the time and it actually is probably good for you to let it all out and then pick yourself up put on those big girl pants a new shade of lipstick and look in that mirror and say I deserve to have a Happy Birthday and I will have one! It may not be the one i want right now but i refuse to be sucked back into the insanity of addiction! Keep lighting the darkness and Katelin will find her way home ! Happy Birthday Friend cheer you ! Being human means we love and care for our children no matter what, I would rather be that kind of person than one who can so easily write off their children. Who knows maybe you will here from Katelin! Its not a pity party you are feeling, it is a mothers unconditional love for their child who has gone astray.

Hey girl Happy Birthday tomorrow! Its ok to get sad when our B-days come along and all of our kids are not with us to wish us a special day. I know wherever Katelin is out there she will be thinking of her mom and missing you too. Get all your sad feelings out today and then tomorrow you get those big girls pants back on and SHINE! You take care of all of us here and all of those beautiful kids at home and so tomorrow on your big day you deserve to get your shine on!!

PS when I was pre- menopausal it was a great relief to blame all those melt-downish days on hormones.

kim, you are human and what mother wouldn't have a heavy heart on her child's birthday given the situation you are in. I am saying extra prayers and asking that katelin will think of you on Wednesday and maybe even send you a phone call if she is able. and as always praying that God will send his angels around her and protect her and keep her safe. love you lots. hugs

I love each and everyone of you,,, it's amazing how this group comes together quick!,, I attend a lot of meetings, and by far this one deffinetly "rocks",,

I put my big girl pants on,, and some lipstick,, of pistal Annie,, hell of heels,,, put me where I belong,,,

I know Katelin will think of me tomorrow,, and if she does not call,,, I know,, that for my 50,,( in three years) she will throw a heck of a birthday for me,,, my parents they are with me in my heart,,, actually the female and male cardinal hang in my backyard,, brings comfort,,,
I've choose to focus on what I do have,, and realize behind every cloud the sun does shine!!!
