Good for you, Dontstop! I totally agree that attending meetings is crucial for him; he's got a lot to lose with a 9-year-old son. Maybe he could have left girlfriend's house and gone to a meeting for strength, and then come back to her with a cooler head. You are not a hotel.

It took me almost ten years but I did it, my daughter is know living in a sober house for the second time she's been there since September. I may let her come home in a few weeks but she knows 3 strikes and she's out for good. I pray she can do it.
I hope your son will find the right doctor in the physc unit this time and come to his senses. Drugs make them do some crazy stuff.

My dh finally told his DS23 not to call him unless it's for asking for a ride back to rehab. I disengaged last time he went to rehab and have stayed distant, but I feel for my poor dh. It breaks his heart every time.
