My dumbass addict did not give me all the information. Of course I don't believe he asked the right questions when he was on the phone with RCKC yesterday. Mack entering rehab in the next day or two is not happening. What did happen is that they gave him his admission date and time. He is currently scheduled for July 25th at 8:30am. There is a possibility that he can get in earlier. He's going to call in everyday to see if there is an opening. But as of right now it's the 25th. Gives me 2 more weeks. Bloody hell......

Please God give me the strength to get through the next 2 weeks.

While I'm sorry it's not happening as fast as you'd like it, at least he has an official date now for things to move forward.

Does he attend NA meetings or anything of the sort while he's been waiting? I know you said he's been clean as far as you know.

I'm sorry...it's just so frustrating when you want action and you can do nothing but wait it out.

My person got a scheduled date like that but wound up getting in a lot earlier so maybe you'll get lucky.

I realized last night while lying in bed that it's actually 3 weeks. 3 more weeks. That's 21 days. TWENTY ONE DAYS!!!

We did have a breakthrough last night. He was apologizing again. That's a daily occurrence. But this one was different. He finally admitted and apologized for being so selfish and arrogant. He's becoming more humble. That's a good sign.

Oh well.... I'm going to try to enjoy this day. Worry about the addict tomorrow.

I remember having the really evil but funny to me thought that I could open up some beds by leaving pills on the sidewalk near the rehab. I never really would but when you're desperate to get them in, these are the things that go through your head, lol.

I'm about ready to give him a sleeping bag. He can sleep on the floor at the treatment center.

I don't think I can take 3 more weeks.
