My sister is exhausting. Every day she 'discovers' the true colours of others. Or she is threatening to kill herself. Or she is claiming no one cares about her and we all hate her. Or she is slamming her boyfriend on Facebook. Or she is posting "inspirational" meme after meme.

Since she has been sobering up (I am certain she has relapsed though she will lie about it) a whole whack of health issues have come to surface.

She has such a low iron level they were surprised she was walking around. She has to have B12 shots. She has a thyroid issue that was being medicated but the medication was stopping the absorption of iron so it was stopped. They now want to test her for thyroid cancer. She is pre diabetic.

And....I don't care. And I feel sick about it. Not about how unhealthy she is, or that they think she may be knocking on deaths door, but I feel sick about not caring. I physically and mentally can't make myself.

My family is crucifying me for it. I get scolded and guilted at every turn. I want to care, I just can't! I'm a horrible person. I have never had this issue before!

She accosted me on my birthday....I had a Scentsy party, we went to the bar, then we went out for a bite to eat. I invited her to the party...she decined....I forgot to tell her when we left for the bar as I was a bottle of wine into the night....and we invited her out for a bite after. She yelled at me...in the middle of the street outside the bar, about how we all hate her and we wish she was dead and she almost died and nobody cared. Then she stormed off. Next day I got a 'sorry' text. I didn't reply. I haven't talked to her in almost two weeks now.

And I don't care.

I actually cry about not caring. What exactly happened to make me so callous? I feel just pathetically horrible!
