Dual diagnosis residential treatment

Our 22 year old son has been in jail for violating a restraining order; he has been abusing opiates and cocaine (see DISCUSSIONS "22 year old son in jail").
We are trying to find a residential treatment program near Cincinnati that will further attempt pin a diagnosis on his mental health issues (depression/schizetypal disorder?) and rehab to help him stay off cocaine/opiates that he likely has been self-medicating himself with and that have ruined our family. We have to find an acceptable program soon or the court may place him in some yet to be determined state run treatment program/jail.
Using Google to find anything gives only a mish- mosh of advertised programs, most in Florida or California.
How can we sift through this maze of incomplete program descriptions? I found a nice program at Menninger in Texas for $1000/day. I would like to have more choices than this. Any ideas?

You may want to post this in the alcoholism and addiction groups. Some people there may have been in facilities similar to the one you are describing. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

Beware of the rehabs.
They don't want you to know that the sucess rate without relaspes is 3%

I have heard that there is a Christian based program in the Cincy area for young adults dealing with addictions. i wish I could think of the name :( when we were researching rehab for our son, a good friend knew about this. I will find out and let you know so you can look to see if this is the place for your son. Good Luck

I didn't think of the facility I mentioned, but did think of another that is located in Indy (Indianapolis). It is called Fairbanks. My son's psychologist speaks very highly of it. I think there is a website to check out. Again, good luck

Sorry, one more thing. Be very careful when researching these facilities. We ended up trying out a rehab in Tennessee for our son. Once he was there it was nothing like they had said. We ended up shelling out $9000.00. Our son was there for four days, they won't refund any of the money!!!!!!! Be very careful.

    I went to the doctor a while ago to see about my allergies. He rubbed my arm and stuck things under the skin. Nothing. He poked and prodded, his phlebotomist drew so much blood people thought that we were dating. The tests all came back negative. Then one day I went back and I told him that I had found the cause of my allergy.It turns out, I am allergic to betrayal.
