so there he is laying in a hospital bed, pissed at me, my addicted to anything and everything recovering dry alcoholic. he is there for complications of poorly controlled diabetes.i refused to bring him nicotene
gum so withdrawal from that as well. he is ANGRY at me, not in a forgiving place, unaware of his treatments, remote, punishing me, in denial, etc. i took a lunch break, ran over there because it is the right thing to do. last night i apologized for not being supportive enough and speaking the truth that he needs to get his act together. he was still pissed. and i thought AH HA THIS IS WHAT ADDICTS DO!!!!!! so i walked out, left that ball of anxiety from my stomach there in the lobby, and i will not be visiting again.

He poked and prodded, his phlebotomist drew so much blood people thought that we were dating. The tests all came back negative. Then one day I went back and I told him that I had found the cause of my allergy. It turns out, I am allergic to betrayal.
