My Dad committed suicide in October 2017. I’m his youngest daughter. I discovered the body. I feel I can’t talk to anyone about what I’m going through in the family because it is too horrific. I can only see the therapist so often. I have to live with the image everyday. I can’t do loud noises. Can’t be in public. Most people who wanted to support me have all abandoned me now because they can’t handle it.

I joined this board over my children's stepmother who killed herself, but when I was in high school my father attempted suicide.
This board isn't very active, but the PTSD board is. You're welcome to join there. There are a number of people on there dealing with loud noises, nightmares, etc.
