I had a friend who committed suicide by OD and I still dream about her. It's been 7 years but I still feel like it's my fault, like I could've helped but I never knew she was struggling. Just wish no one had to feel this pain.

I was recently separated from my wife of 33 years and it's complicated. Anyway I rented a room about 15 minutes away and I see my kids about once a week. I see the people who own the house I live in once in a while but other than that I stay in my room where I do my cooking, wash dishes in the shower, read, color, and sleep. I get out at least once a day. I grocery shop and I attend 2 meetings...
I have lost friends and family to suicide and no matter how well you think you know them, you never really know what's inside their heads.
I don't know if you have any spiritual beliefs but it really helped me get through those difficult times. I would ask for a sign of his presence and he always gave me one.
It is NOT your fault! It will help you....and her too....if you let go of the guilt.
