Each series of scans takes its toll, mentally an d physically, particularly at 2 years. You're right, it's a big one. Still, I get just as nervous now, as I did from the first. I am a lot calmer about it, but I can't help getting a little anxiety. That's just the nature of the beast.

Hi Martin. I know exactly how you feel right now. I just got back from my PET/Scan which is 18 months out from the surgery, 12 months since I finished chemo/radiation. I have to wait until Monday for the results. It seems that each test comes a little easier, but not much. I look forward to a good report from you when yours is complete.

Thanks, Dan....Hopkins is really good about the results....I have the study at 11AM on Friday and meet with the Doc to get the results at 12:30 Friday....I dont know how I'd make it through the weekend....ML.

Jeff and I have not been through the anxiety of a scan yet, except for the one at diagnosis, and then we were still too in shock to feel anything. We are getting ready to have the first post radiation and chemo scan on the 17th. We will then find out if Jeff can have surgery still, if he can we are heading to John Hopkins for surgery on September 6th with Dr. Yang.

Thinking of you Martin and keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. Definitely sending some good vibes your way. After my 2 year clean results they gave me a little more time between scan/scope. Was to be 8 months, but has turned into 10. Mine are next month. I'm, like you, feeling fine and banking that's a good sign for us :-) That's awesome you find out within an hour and half (approx.) your results. I generally wait a week for my follow-up appointment. I'm thinking this time, though, I'll call in to get my results - so probably 24+ hours. I'll ask the person who gives the scan.

Had my 2 yr. appointment on Friday and got the all clear....no evidence of disease....Not out of the woods yet, but the percentages for survival increase dramatically at the 2 yr. mark. I now move from every 3 months to every 6 months....thanks to all for the support....ML.

Excellent news!!! I am so happy when I hear of folks who are beating EC. Now you can breathe a little easy...2yrs thats AWESOME!!! To many more :)

Congratulations Martin ... 2 year is a huge milestone. The good news is an encouragement to us all. Keep on keep'in on.
