I am sorry to hear your daughter is going through this. I myself have never had this happen. But I will help you with what I do know. Yes a heart condition can cause the seizures to happen. I would take the heart Dr. Advice and seek a 2nd opinion. I myself would take it 1step further though. I would get a neurologist involved as well. Stress of any level can cause seizures to happen. This way the two Drs could both be a benefit to your daughter. Hope I was of some help.

This is a link to a page that talks about the link between heart probs and seizures. I really don't know... Maybe it's because the brain isn't getting enough O2 or nutrients because the heart isn't pumping effectively? Most people with epilepsy have seizures because their are hyperactive neurons in the brain. But I definitely agree with Tiger, in that you shoudl start with a cardiologist and work also with a neurologist, since it's two different systems that are involved. Good luck. :)
