Sorry your having a tough time of it with your BF. Seizures aren't the easiest thing to deal with, they can be pretty scary. Has he been diagnosed with a particular Seizure Disorder like Epilepsy, or an Illness that's causing his Seizures, or are the Dr.'s still trying to figure that out?
The good news is, there are quite a few good Medications out there now days that help control Seizures and the treat the Illnesses that cause them.
It can take a little time for Dr.'s/Neurologists to get a concrete picture of exactly what's causing the problem, but once they do, hopefully they'll find the right treatment plan for him. It helps to keep a positive outlook even though it is a very scary thing to deal with.
I have a Seizure Disorder, I have Grand Mal Seizures, my sons have had to learn to not be scared of them, but know how to deal with them if it happens. I grew up with an Epileptic Mother and had a Sister who passed away from Epilepsy when I was 13, so I understand how scary it can be.
I hope that your BF's Dr.'s find some answers for you guys soon and you're able to get some peace of mind in your situation.
Take care,
kat
