I was diagnosed at the early age of 8years
old having Epilepsy. From that point on
in life, and still as of today I suffer with
Major Depression. I had an operation that
has led me to be seizure-free for five years
now. However, I still have Major
Depression. My Neurologist told me that
Epilepsy and Depression, goes hand in
hand!

But I am here if you need someone to talk to, the depression is hard to fight, but there are always even little tasks you can conquer that will make you feel better, for me even things like going on a roller coaster (told I couldn't), getting good enough grades to land an internship, etc...it takes a lot more work for us but in the end I promise it will make us stronger... :-)
Just the fact of knowing that you have to limit yourself and can't be like everyone else is really depressing. You have to push it away and force yourself to be optimistic. At least your not in a wheel chair or some kind of home. Your life is still kind of normal, except you have to work a little harder than other people.
Lilbirie is right, you will become a stronger person in the end.
