I know this is a weird question but has anyone ever had any reactions to their self cleaning over? When ever my family uses the self cleaning function I need to be out of the house for a few hours. If not, I feel like there are fumes that make my eyes sting/water and give me headaches. Sometimes I can start coughing to. The rest of my family thinks I am nuts and I'd love to know if this happens to anyone else.

Fumes from self-cleaning ovens HAVE made me sneeze, cough, stopped up etc. Also-I got an iron skillet as a gift once. It was the kind you had to "season" by coating it with veg. oil and putting it in the oven for an hour. The fumes and smoke from that had me stopped up for two days!!! Also, fumes from kerosene heaters will bother me bad too. Tell your family that you're NOT CRAZY. Folks with sensitive sinuses can be bothered by ALOT of smells, and fumes.

I'm sure it can be a problem to individuals with a low immune system. Have you thought about raising yours and do you know how?

I work as an infant/toddler teacher and although it orginally took me a good year to build up my immunity to all their germs, its a pretty good one.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper?
