Hi My Forehead & Face went very read and was starting to swell...initially I thought it was Pscriasis however it was allergie to something...

Has anybody had anything similar happen? What do you think caused this in the first place?

What can I do to prevent this from happening again?

Thanks for your help, the Dr has prescribed Hayleve tablets...? are they any good? It has worked so far 2 day and redness going........

I have had similar problems with allergic reactions... Mine came from something in or on the fruit I had eaten... 3 separate times and all different fruit... along with the redness, I had swelling in my neck..lymph nodes and my ears, eyes and lips... I was affraid to eat any fruit so I started washing and peeling what I did consume and limited it.. waiting for a reation before I ate anymore.. I have never had Hayleve.. so I dont know what the active ingredients are... I did take antihistamines.. used calamine... I nearly scratched my face and ears off.. lots of compresses on the glad areas... then used an excema treatment cream... as the burning also made my face dry..
It is really difficult to know what will send our bodies into a tailspin like this... but I would advice to avoid the use of chemicals.. in cleaning products.. or for your skin.. or junk food... the best we try to keep our body and environment free from antagonists the more confortable we will live. I worried the last time because even my chest felt heavy and breathing was affected...asthma like sensation. I am not looking forward to summer... I hope you recover quickly...

My forehead and face is clear now after taking Hayleve tablets, this was my first and hope last encounter to an allergic reaction...

will keep away from cleaning chemicals in the future ! So far no problems with any type of food..!

Let's hope the allergy doesn't came back...
