Endometriosis is a common medical condition where the tissue lining the uterus is found outside of the uterus, typically affecting other organs in the pelvis. The condition can lead to serious health problems, primarily pain and infertility. A major symptom of endometriosis is pain, mostly in the lower abdomen, lower back, and pelvic area.
Over the past month or so, I've had a lot more back and hip pain than usual. I've had more and more painful bowel movements, and the past week I've had more sharp endo pain.
I'm not terrible, but I'm not sure why my symptoms are increasing. Honestly, I know that unless I want to do lupron or surgery, there's nothing they can do. But, part of me feels more validated in my pain when I go to the doctor. Or I wonder if I go this time they will find something else, like a cyst (although I don't really feel like I have a cyst). I guess that I still have the mentality of me not feeling well = go to the doctor. But, then I wonder what I think they can actually do for me.
When do you know to go to the doctor?

What kind of treatment have you had in the past?
My lap wasn't nearly as bad as I expected it to be. However, my periods did get worse for a few months afterwards, which kind of caught me off-guard. This month seems to be much MUCH better, though, so I think it was probably worth it.
