I agree! I am pretty lucky overall. I usually catch a small something once per year and am over it within a week. I think for me its all this talk where I work as out of all places in a dining area at my local college campus. Its that time of year when we have to go through everything for food sanitation. So watching all the videos and lectures tweek me out thinking of all the places and things that I can catch freakin botulism from.

Then one of the chefs made my lunch on Monday and then right before the dinner rush he became violently ill. It was so bad that our campus security had to drive him home. I was like oh great and he made my lunch. awesome! He's been out for the past few days so we don't know if he had the flu or ate something bad/contaminated. But now I'm really wigged out that he made my food and then got soo sick later that day.

Another good part for me is that I still have a perscription of my anti nausea pills that I was on from chemo. You can also use it for pain and sleep issues. I use it when my pain gets really bad.

I agree with all of you tho. I can handle a cold but so help me no stomach bugs! Like with the rest of you I already have to many digestive issues from endo to get the bug on top of.

I can't beleive how many of you have gotten sick from eating out. Looking back at all the food places that I've worked in my younger days...I guess its pretty safe to say that I've grown a natural immunity towards food borne illness. lol.

@ Poisoned-Hugs...your story kind of made me laugh a bit as my aunt has the same problem as you. Every time she calls my mom she's always got some sort of illness.

Also I don't remember where the restaurant is but its some where in Orlando, FL They celebrate New Years every hour on the hour. So you can go there to eat and hopefully you won't get sick within the next hour, so thats another thought to keeping your ny resolution. :)
