The condition can lead to serious health problems, primarily pain and infertility. A major symptom of endometriosis is pain, mostly in the lower abdomen, lower back, and pelvic area.

I was actually really surprised to see this. For some reason I thought she reached a settlement, so I wasn't really checking it out because I thought it was resolved. It's really disturbing to see that no lawmakers are willing to stand up for women's healthcare and put their name to an amicus brief. This case deserves a fair trial.

If you're following the Lupron case you might also want to check out Dr. David Redwine's Facebook. In 2011 he submitted a 300 pg report to the FDA about issues with the study that was used to bring Lupron onto the market. The FDA is supposed to finish their review in Nov 2013 and I guess there's a chance it could be taken off the market. His facebook is here

Poisoned-Have you read his book Googling Endometriosis The Lost Centuries?It's $50 on amazon so I want to make sure it'd b worth buying.

@vansanturtle I was almost on it when I was first diagnosed, but I went for an aromatease inhibitor instead. And the manufacturer of the aromatease inhibitor is also in legal hot water now for kickbacks! Yikes!

@Mellisa I got Googling Endometriosis for my birthday! I thought it was great. My boyfriend even read it and liked it. It does touch on some of Dr. Redwine's current theories, but the bulk of it deals with the history endometriosis. There's a lot of info in there so I think you get your money's worth. Dr. Redwine also has a pretty good sense of humor too so it wasn't boring. 50 bucks is a good price. I think my boyfriend paid 75 (which almost knocked me over because I only buy used books lol).

Thank you for sharing. This is scary and to think I was going to give it a try. I am staying far away from that drug as possible but my doc keeps pushing me on it because I want to have kids.
